Tips & Tricks: To Teach your AI New Information
Have you noticed the options that appear alongside your AI’s responses when you’re messaging it? Maybe you’re wondering exactly what they mean and what you can do with them.
Today we’re highlighting the actions you can take from responses from your AI that have low or high personal scores.
Refresher: Your AI personal score appears above each response your AI gives, and helps you determine how relevant the response is to your specific memory stack. (Also referred to as a trust score within your application — your personal score tells you the degree of trust you can have that your AI’s response is sourced from you.)
A high score means that your AI is more likely to be synthesizing information that you’ve specifically provided. A low score means that response is more likely to be generic due to insufficient context from your existing memory blocks to synthesize from.
Here’s an example of a low and high personal score and a breakdown of what you can do with each:
For Low AI Personal Scores:
Only one option appears underneath your AI response when it contains a low personal score: the “Teach my AI” option.
You can select “Teach my AI” or go into “Teach mode” to provide your AI with new information to improve its answer.
→ After clicking “Teach my AI”, write one or more sentences in the form of a statement on the topic that you’d like your AI to learn

→ Click “Send” on your new statement to instantly create a new memory block that your AI will now always remember.
For High AI Personal Scores:
You have more options on what you choose to do when your AI returns a response with a high personal score! In addition to “Teach your AI”, these options help with the following:
→ Rewrite: Tunes the language of your AI’s response by removing grammatical errors and clarifying the statement while still maintaining its original context and meaning.
→ Show Question: Find the questions your AI can answer from this information.
→ Expand Context: Provides a longer form answer to your question. (Same answer, more detail and context! It’s like asking your AI: “can you expand on that?”)
→ Send to stack: Take note of any new pieces of information that result from the latest response you’ve received from your AI.
